Yayyyy!!
So I have my wedding ring back.
The story is this:
I of course told my husband (in my gloomy eeyore-like voice) that I had lost my wedding ring, I had searched L's room top to bottom... etc.
So he went looking for it too, in the same places I had looked.
A couple mornings later, he wakes me up in the morning, and says, "I had a dream it's in your purse. Why don't you go check?"
So first thing that morning, I checked in my purse... sure enough! There this ring of gold was.
Acts 2:17 says this:
'In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
So does this mean he's an old man? Or just has an old spirit? Hmmmm.....
In other news
Today I'm leaving!! Around 5 o'clock today, Richelle will be here to pick me up and off we'll go! (Of course, this is "Richelle Time"--- SO.... it'll probably be closer to 6 when we finally get gone. I am praying I'm wrong, but I just know my friend! : )
In children news
I have a 2 year old. I'm sure I've mentioned this :)
Well, my 2 year old is wonderful. She is smily and blond and mostly good natured.
Well, my 2 year old is also a nudist. I've discovered her new found philosophy recently. She LOVES to be nekked. I can't stop her from taking her clothes off her cute little pale self. This is a new thing for our family. Our older two were never nudies. They barely like to have their clothes taken off for shower time.
Not J. She is an all nekked girl. She would take her diaper off and run around in her birthday suit in all weather if I'd let her.
For example. A few weeks ago, we had about 8 inches of snow on the ground. The space from the garage to the house is about 20 feet. Well, I set her off to go to the door to the house on her own (with the other 2 as supervisors). By the time I had turned around, closed the garage door, and come out the side door, my 2 year old was on the sidewalk in 20 deg. weather with her pants in her hands. She still had her shoes on. She still had her coat on. Apparently, she's Houdini in disguise. The other two hadn't even noticed (or rather, they noticed but were too intrigued in her contortionist act to stop her) and hadn't taken steps to stop her. So now I have arms full of stuff, and a child on the sidewalk with her pants in her hands and her little diaper butt out for the world to see. Fortunately, the world was smart that day and stayed inside -- it was only 20 degrees out. So, she didn't flash anyone.
But that is the child I am dealing with. Little beautiful baby girl that loves to be unclothed.
Have a good weekend!!
