If I do say so myself, I have some of the most erratic blog posting habits, and for that I apologize, to anyone who happens to stumble on my page and wants to come back, and to myself. It is one of those things I always mean to get done, it just gets put on the bottom of my pile and never actually gets accomplished.
Good intentions and all that.
For example, here's my week:
Sunday was church
Monday I had to go to Danville (about 20 mins away) after dropping H off at preschool so that I could take care of some MOPS things.
Tonight, I have my very first PTO meeting ever.
Wednesday, I have our final MOPS Steering team meeting before the first MOPS meeting of the year.
Thursday is my birthday, and my plans include some alone time, and then my 2 best friends have made reservations at some swanky restaurant to celebrate.
Friday I have MOPS in the morning, a dr's appt in the afternoon.
Saturday my inlaws are coming to celebrate my Bday.
That takes me to Sunday.
I'm sure it will fill up with something.
Last week I was sick for 2 days. Next week I'm leaving for 3 days for a women's conference with my church group.
In between all this, I do have 3 kids a husband and a dog that need attention. My laundry looks like I live in a laundromat, my dishes have a film on them, the kitchen floor cannot be walked over without picking up a few pieces of something, and I can never seem to get it all caught up all at once.
L started KG a couple weeks ago. She's so adorable. She loves it. Although, I have no idea what she does there. When I ask her a question, such as, "Honey, what did you have for lunch today?" She replies, "Well, I had something, but I'm not telling you what it was." Me: "Honey, what books did you read today?" My L: "Well, we read 3, but I'm not telling you what they were." Me: "Baby, who did you play with at recess today?" My Chicken Little: "Well, I played. But I'm not telling you what I played." Me: "Ok. Who did you play with?" Her: "Well, I played with someone, but I don't want to tell you who."
Why? I don't know. She wants to keep all school activities some big government secret.
Which is why I've decided to volunteer. Starting the first Monday in October, I'll be in her class for 3 hours every other Monday morning. From the time school starts, until I have to go get H, I plan to be with her class. I have set up childcare for my J, and my plans are to help out with L's class with whatever they need me to do.
Because I need one more thing to do, right?
